Washington Policy Center Health Care Policy Analyst Dr. Roger Stark, MD, FACS was invited to join the Health Policy Consensus Group, a group composed of health care policy analysts from state and national free market think tanks, sponsored by the Galen Institute and The Heritage Foundation. The group met over the course of the past year.

In late October, the group published a comprehensive paper on free market health care reforms. While not an author of the final piece, Dr. Stark served as a sounding-board and did some fact checking for the final document. The hope is that regardless of the election outcome, the reform plan will get some traction and help inspire a path forward toward better choices in health care.
