In 2018, Wasshington Policy Center welcomed a keynote speaker to our Eastern Washington Annual Dinner who was a former vice presidential candidate, a leading voice in his party for school choice issues, and famously fought to preserve Washington, D.C.'s Opportunity Scholarship program, remarking that "a child's education shouldn't be limited based on their zip code or family's income." He is also one of the few Americans in history to speak at both the Democratic and the Republican National Conventions.  Can you name him?
