A strange approach to the end of the world: Washington's carbon tax proposal
WPC's Todd Myers noticed something about many of the proponents commenting about Washington state's proposed carbon tax--many hadn't actually read the bill! Todd did. He discovered that while Washingtonians are being told the tax is needed to prevent an end-of-the-world crisis, the legislation does more to channel money to the politically favored than it does to actually reduce carbon emissions. If the whole world is at stake, does that make any sense?
