THANK YOU for helping us amplify common sense in Olympia! On Friday, we handed in more than 28,000 signatures supporting a no-new tax budget (and more signatures continue to come in - over 30,000 have rolled in). Your willingness to stand up against excessive taxation has already made a difference - the public outcry against the increase in the property tax cap has been intense and Governor Ferguson has come out in opposition to it. This was an essential victory for property owners as well as for those who rent!
Washington needs unified voices for common sense, affordability, and responsible budgeting. THANK YOU for joining us, speaking out with us, and sharing our petition with friends and colleagues! The end of the session will not be the end of our work. We will keep pushing for a more affordable Washington and policies that embrace the principles of the free-market. Together, we will change Washington!
We handed in your signatures to Governor Ferguson, but you can still make your voice heard!
The regular legislative session may soon be over, but citizens still have a chance to register their opposition to increasing the tax burden on families and businesses. With increasing signature numbers, we can continue to send a clear message that Washingtonians do not want increased or new taxes! If you haven't already, sign here and we'll submit your signatures in.
