Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton and former Wall Street Journal editorial board member Stephen Moore join one of the largest policy galas in the Northwest

SPOKANE — Washington Policy Center (WPC), the state’s leading independent think tank, will host its Annual Dinner policy gala event in Spokane at the new Davenport Grand Hotel tonight. The dinner begins at 7:00pm.

Special guests headlining the dinner are former United States Ambassador to the United Nations John R. Bolton and Heritage Foundation’s Chief Economist Stephen Moore.

“We are fortunate to have two such distinguished experts joining us in Spokane at our dinner. Our audience will enjoy hearing from Ambassador Bolton and Mr. Moore, especially given the recent events on the international stage as well as the current swell of excitement regarding the 2016 presidential election,” remarked WPC Eastern Washington director Chris Cargill.

Ambassador Bolton also currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. His area of research is U.S. foreign and national security policy. He has spent decades of his career in public service. His commentary has been much sought after in recent months as the Congress debates President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran.

Stephen Moore is the chief economist at Heritage Foundation and served on the editorial board at The Wall Street Journal. Moore focuses on budget, fiscal and monetary policy and showcases states that get fiscal houses in order. He has also been tapped as a key resource for current 2016 presidential candidates in the area of economic policy, and is being wooed by nearly the entire list of Republican presidential candidates. He is also author of several books including his latest, “An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of States: How Taxes, Energy and Worker Freedom Change Everything.”
