Prestrud will discuss transportation at March 7 Rotary meeting
Charles Prestrud will discuss “Puget Sound Region Transportation Plans, Trends, and Issues” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on March 7 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St. The main meeting begins at 12:30 pm. Guests are always welcome.
Seattle native Prestrud began his transportation planning career with Community Transit in Snohomish County. In 2001, he joined Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and for the next 20 years held various positions including several years as WSDOT’s planning manager for King and Snohomish counties. In December of 2022, he joined the Washington Policy Center as director of its transportation center.
