Improving Washington's Small Business Climate

Where do we go from here?

Following a successful tour of small business forums across eight Washington cities, WPC's Center for Small Business has released results of its small business survey at a joint press conference with NFIB on Wednesday, January 30, at the state Capitol.

Three legislators, Sen. Rodney Tom, Sen. Janéa Holmquist Newbry and Rep. Matt Manweller, addressed small business concerns that committees are considering during the current legislative session, including workers' compensation reform, minimum wage law, business taxes and teen unemployment.

"It was interesting reading your report as far as your number one issues," said Sen. Tom. "Your issues are our issues, which is always great to see."
